1

Day 1: Rome, Civitavechia port

Embark on the megaship NCL Escape from Rome port. The ship sails at 19.00

2

Day 2: Naples, Italy

The ship arrives at Naples port at 06:30 and departs at 17:00

Cruise to Naples, located on Italy's stunning Amalfi coast, a city rich in history. A tour around Naples' grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will take you back centuries.

Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city which boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets. Buildings, churches, streets, ancient fortresses and castles in the sea, as well as natural caves make Naples unforgettable. Pizza was invented in Naples, Italy. The margherita pizza, topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella, was named after Queen Margherita. The Funicular in Naples is one of the longest funicular lines in the world.

3

Day 3: Cagliari, Sardinia

The ship arrives at Cagliari port at 09:00 and departs at 16:00

Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, provides the perfect blend of modern life and medieval mystery on your Italian cruise. Check out the thousands of mysterious nuraghi (stone dwellings) found on the island. See Mercato di San Benedetto, and photograph the amazing museum citadel.

Whilst in Cagliari, don't forget to visit Molentargius Saline Park - home to over 180 different species of birds and is famously known for its pink flamingos.

Fun Fact #1 - The Villa Clara, old mental hospital restored into the new provincial library, houses many cultural events throughout the year including the European Jazz Expo.

Fun Fact #2 - Cagliari is considered one of the greenest cities in Italy. Each inhabitant has access to 87.5 square metres of public gardens and parks.

4

Day 4: Mallorca, Spain

The ship arrives at Mallorca port at 12:00 and departs at 23:00

On the one hand, this city, founded by the Romans some 2,100 years ago, is replete with (literally) wall-to-wall history and architectural splendor. You can journey back in time and wander the mazes of alleyways and cobblestone paths that surround the Gothic cathedral. On the other hand, Palma is bustling with life, showcasing the island's best restaurants, shops, nightlife and a vibrant art scene.

Whilst in Majorca, take the opportunity to see spectacular Mallorcan views and sample excellent quality wines along the beautiful seaside promenade.
The beautiful Caves of Hams contain artistic lighting created by Lorenzo Caldentey, whose father discovered the caves.
Cycling has become a big part of the city. Today it welcomes tens of thousands of cyclists each year for both professional training and racing.

    5

    Day 5: Ibiza, Spain

The ship arrives at Ibiza port at 07:00 and departs at 18:00

Ibiza is synonymous with celebration and fun. Await the sunset to enjoy the night, the dawn and the next day.
Ibiza is a tourist destination known for fun, but it's also a UNESCO World Heritage site that has a lot to offer. During the stop in the port of Ibiza, visit the Las Dalias market, where you'll find jewelry and other examples of local craftsmanship. If you want to buy home unusual items, check out Sluiz, a shop located in Santa Gertrudis that contrasts starkly with the quaint atmosphere of the village. Also visit the island of Formentera, located less than an hour from the city.

Not to be missed: Stand up paddle at sunset, a Catamaran cruise and Snorkelling in Cala Tarida

    6

    Day 6: Barcelona, Spain

The ship arrives at Barcelona port at 05:00 and departs at 17:00

The capital of Catalonia, and one of its provinces, Barcelona, is a place of palpable history, where you can lose yourself strolling down the medieval streets of the Barri Gotic. It's a city designed to delight the senses: visit other-worldly Modernista churches like Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia, or treat yourself at a street side cafe to Patatas Bravas or a Passion Fruit Mojito.

    • Known for its scenic post modern architecture, some of Barcelona's can't-miss sites are La Pedrara, La Sagrada Familia and Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.
    • The Sagrada Familia church has taken longer to build than the great pyramids.
    7

    Day 7: Cannes, France

The ship arrives at Cannes port at 09:00 and departs at 20:00

Drive up Suquet Hill for a view of the city, sea and Lerins Island - fabulous dahling! How many rich and famous can you spot, walk the palm-lined promenade de la Croisette and count. The French Riviera at its best...the International Film Festival calls this home.

    • The resort town of Cannes, located on the French Riviera, is most known for the Cannes Film Festival, which draws numerous celebrities each year.
    • Known as the "Sister City of Beverly Hills," Cannes is the commerce and activities centre of the French Riviera.
    • Local farmers sell their food at Marche Forville, considered the best food market in Cannes.
    8

    Day 8: Livrono, Florence

The ship arrives at Livorno port at 06:00 and departs 19:00

How lucky to visit the Tuscan region, Florence & Pisa, resplendent in art and history. What's even more fortunate is that all the main attractions in Florence are centrally located for the perfect walking tour. See Santa Croce, Piazza del Duomo and Michelangelo's David.

Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, symbolizes the wealth and power of Italy's golden age more than any other city in Italy. It offers much more than the famous leaning tower.
The Leaning Tower was designed many centuries ago as a Campanile - a free-standing bell tower of Pisa Cathedral. Although designed to be standing vertically, the tower started to lean the southeast direction shortly after its construction began.
Cathedral of Santa Marla Del Flore is the second largest cathedral in the world, capable of holding 3,000 people. Begun in 1296, it took 140 years to complete.
