Day 4: Visby, Sweden

It's also one of Sweden's most photogenic destinations, its tangle of cobbled lanes, pastel cottages and colourful wildflowers seemingly pulled from the pages of a well-worn storybook. With hauntingly beautiful ruined Gothic churches and mostly intact 12th-century ramparts, it's a place where history is written large.

Day 5: Tallinn, Estonia

Tallinn is one of the most beautiful European capitals we will encounter in the Costa Cruise in Northern Europe. Its old town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tallinn, which in recent decades has managed to establish itself as a prominent economic center, is also a cosmopolitan city that fascinates with its medieval atmosphere. Its historic center has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its extraordinary beauty and ancient atmosphere that continues to fascinate after centuries. After exploring the harbor area, immerse yourself in the past, and stroll down the picturesque stone-paved streets of the old city where you can admire the churches and other fascinating monuments from the Middle Ages.

Day 6: Helsinki, Finland

The fortress, which covers an area of several tens of hectares, was built on an archipelago of six islands and hosts hundreds of military-style buildings dating from various centuries. Day 7: Riga, Latvia

During this stop at the port of Riga, you will discover the breath-taking atmosphere of one of the most beautiful pearls in the Baltic Sea. The capital of Latvia and an important industrial and economic centre of the region, Riga has a fascinating cultural heritage. The old town was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997. Don't miss the chance to stroll down the cobblestone streets of the historic city centre to discover the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings and visit the many other museums and monuments in the Latvian capital.

Day 8: Riga, Latvia
