The entire ceiling of the inside promenade will be covered by a giant 480 sq.m. LED screen transmitting visual magic round the clock: an atmospheric digital sky that animates the whole area from above with inspiring vistas, events, sunrises, sunsets and starry night skies.

Atmosphere pool
With around 10 sq. m. of public space per guest, poolside space on MSC Bellissima is some of the most plentiful to be found at sea. Beautiful lighting, a giant screen and atmospheric design make the main pool area even more alluring after dark.

Day 1: Genoa, Italy

Embarkation on MSC Bellissima from Genoa port. The ship departs at 19:00

Day 2: Livorno, Florence, Italy

The ship arrives at Livorno port at 07.00 and departs at 17.00

On the west coast of Tuscany lies the cosmopolitan port city of Livorno. This Italian getaway is known for its historical architecture, sumptuous seafood, and checkboard waterside promenade.

Livorno is the perfect launch pad for visiting Tuscany’s beautiful art cities, Florence and Pisa. What’s more, you’ll find great natural environments, like Macchia della Magona, spread across the region.

Florence, capital city of the Tuscany region, is a star of Italian Renaissance. There’s plenty to discover on a fabulous MSC Cruises excursion including fine food, masterpiece artworks, and ancient architecture.  Admire the city from the panoramic Piazzale Michelangelo before visiting the 15th-century cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. See Piazza Santa Croce and its world-famous Basilica or take in works by Caravaggio, Raphael, and da Vinci and the prestigious Uffizi Gallery. Experience the atmosphere of Florence at your own pace, wandering around the artisan stores and chic boutiques. Or dine in one of the incredible restaurants for a bowl of pasta or authentic pizza.

Take the trip of a lifetime to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Park. This lively area comprises of five coastal villages: Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore, Monterosso al Mare, and Vernazza. View these multi-coloured towns from the sea, on a boat ride along the rocky coast. Then, dock in Monterosso al Mare for a leisurely walk through the old town centre to visit San Giovanni Battista, a 14th-century church.

Day 3: Naples, Italy

The ship arrives at Naples port at 09.00 and departs at 17.00

Cruise to Naples, located on Italy's stunning Amalfi coast, a city rich in history. A tour around Naples' grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will take you back centuries.

Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city which boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets. Buildings, churches, streets, ancient fortresses and castles in the sea, as well as natural caves make Naples unforgettable. Pizza was invented in Naples, Italy. The margherita pizza, topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella, was named after Queen Margherita. The Funicular in Naples is one of the longest funicular lines in the world.

Day 5: Valencia, Spain

The ship arrives at Valencia port at 09.00 and departs at 21.00

We are in Valencia, and nobody can miss the chance to taste a real paella and then take a stroll in the beautiful city centre.
The port of Valencia is the fifth busiest in Europe. Observing the medieval architecture and futuristic buildings of the city, history buffs won’t have any problem in discerning Baroque, Gothic and Moorish influences along the city streets. Don't forget to visit the popular quarters: Mingle with the locals in Ruzafa at the market, to sample so many delights. Bars, restaurants and outdoor cafes will offer you the Mediterranean flavours of the area.

Not to be missed: The incredible Valencia Biopic, the Oceanographic Valencia Aquarium and the Albufera Natural Park

Day 6: Tarragona, Spain

Tarragona is one of the most interesting destinations you will discover during your MSC Mediterranean cruise.
Located in the north-east of Spain, only 1 hour from Barcelona, Tarragona is one of the most important ports of Catalonia and an important tourist destination. In Tarragona you will find Costa Daurada with golden beaches and landscapes that seem to be taken from a holiday postcard.

With an MSC Excursion you will discover the city of Tarragona, an ancient Roman city and one of the most well-preserved in Spain. Visit the Roman part of the city, including the amazing amphitheater and walk through narrows streets and squares to feel the atmosphere of the city.

You can also visit Tarragona’s surroundings and immerse yourself into the Middle ages with an excursion to the Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet declared an UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991. This abbey is one of the key religious and historical sites of Catalonia. To complete the full immersion into the Middle Ages, you will also visit Montblanc, considered one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Catalonia. Here, our expert guides will make you fall in love with its narrow streets, squares, and monuments of the city.

If you fancy something different, book a Cava tasting excursion to enjoy the Penedès region. After a bus tour to admire Tarragona’s Amphitheatre you will go to Sant Sadurni d’Anoia, home of the sparkling wine Cava. This region is where almost all Cava is produced in Spain. You will visit the Cava Vilarnau, a small artisan winery specializing in the production of an exclusive high-quality cava. In addition to discovering the process of making wine, sparkling wine, and cava, indulge in a Cava tasting experience.
