Balearic Islands – Costa Pacifica

Day 1: Larnaca - Rome

Flight Larnaca to Rome. Transfers from Rome airport to Rome port. Costa Pacifica departs from Rome port at 18.30.

Day 2: Savona, Italy

The ship arrives at Savona port at 08:30 and departs at 16:30

Above the port of Savona, the Priamar Fortress greets every departure and arrival of the Costa ships sailing in the Mediterranean. Genoa and its aquarium are nearby.
The port of Savona is one of the prettiest of the Italian Riviera. The lovely climate, summers that are never to hot, mild winters and the exceptional beauty of the sea near the town makes Savona an excellent base to set out to explore Liguria. Savona is notable for the Priamar Fortress, which has dominated the town since the 16th century, and also for its historic centre where you can visit Savona Cathedral. A stop in Savona can also be an opportunity to visit the nearby city of Genoa and its narrow, picturesque streets, known as “caruggi”.

Day 3: Toulon - La Seyne sur Mer

The ship arrives at Toulon port at 08:00 and departs at 16:00

The port of Toulon is the centre of the region's industrial and maritime history. This place still bears traces of its past, but the main feature is the picturesque character of the city. Enter the vibrant centre of town where you'll find the church of Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Voyage and the Provencal market, then continue your tour from Fort Napoleon and end with a visit to the Villa Tamaris exhibition space before continuing with the cruising on the Côte d’Azur.

Day 4: Valencia, Spain

The ship arrives at Valencia port at 14:00 and departs at 22:00.

We are in Valencia, and nobody can miss the chance to taste a real paella and then take a stroll in the beautiful city centre.
The port of Valencia is the fifth busiest in Europe. Observing the medieval architecture and futuristic buildings of the city, history buffs won’t have any problem in discerning Baroque, Gothic and Moorish influences along the city streets. Don't forget to visit the popular quarters: Mingle with the locals in Ruzafa at the market, to sample so many delights. Bars, restaurants and outdoor cafes will offer you the Mediterranean flavours of the area.

Not to be missed: The incredible Valencia Biopic, Oceanographic Valencia Aquarium, Albufera Natural Park. 

Day 5: Palma De Mallorca, Spain

The ship arrives at Palma De Mallorca port at 09:00 and departs at 19:00.

Imagine an island with turquoise blue waters, secret coves, soft golden sands, lush green foliage, rugged mountains, picturesque villages and a vibrant capital city. Now drop that island in the sea only a couple of hours flight from most European cities... that's Mallorca (also known as Majorca) in a nutshell.

The island and its capital, Palma, are overflowing with character while its beaches are famous all around the world, making it one of the most sought-after summer destinations. Generously furnished with luxury hotels and villas, Mallorca is also one of the world's sailing hotspots. The locally produced foodie delights and wines, delicious traditional cuisine and first-class restaurants with Michelin stars have only added to its appeal. But that's not all, an island steeped in history, Mallorca boasts charming villages, historic sights, an artisan and cultural scene and popular events taking place throughout the year. If relaxing is your thing, grab a sun lounger at a beach club, hop on a boat trip or stroll through the old streets in Palma for some leisurely shopping. Just don't expect to relax for too long as there are theme and water parks for the whole family to enjoy, as well as watersports, thousands of things to do and all the serious walking and cycling you could care to do on holiday. And, if you've not overdone the daytime, there's always the bustling nightlife to finish you off.

Day 6: At sea

Day at your leisure to enjoy the facilities and entertainment onboard Costa Pacifica ship. 

Day 7: Olbia - Emerald Coast

The ship arrives at Olbia port at 08:00 and departs at 20:00

The port of Olbia is situated on the Costa Smeralda, considered one of the most beautiful coasts of Sardinia and of the whole Mediterranean. During the stopover in Olbia you can visit Roman ruins, such as the aqueduct, baths, the basilica of San Simplicio, but also the Holy wells of Sa Tesa, the archaeological site of the Riu Milinu or the Giant’s Grave of Su Mont’e s’Abe, symbols of Nuragic culture. Lovers of nature, divers and beautiful beaches will be enchanted by the islands of Tavolara and Molara.

Day 8: Rome - Larnaca

Costa Pacifica arrives at Rome port at 08:00. Transfer to Rome airport for the return flight to Larnaca.
